The 7th Tradition

The Seventh Tradition states we are fully self supporting, declining outside contributions. When you donate, funds go towards mailing Big Books and 12 & 12’s to newcomers, two important pieces of literature to help people get and stay sober. The donations are also used to send chips to people who are celebrating anniversaries - recognizing how far they have come, one day at a time and a physical reminder that this program really works.

 

Any additional funds are sent to AA Intergroup, which supports meeting information, outreach, events, literature distribution, and carries the message to alcoholics who still suffer.
